Pittsburgh Robotics & AI Discovery Day 2025

Smart tools, great conversations, and 11,000+ reasons to keep building

On November 5th, Pittsburgh once again lived up to its title as the Robotics Capital of the World by hosting a new edition of the Robotics & AI Discovery Day, led by the Pittsburgh Robotics Network.

This free, public event brought together more than 11,000 attendees and transformed the Tech Forge campus into the center of global conversations around how robotics, automation, and AI are reshaping industries and accelerating the future.

With interactive demos, startup booths, expert panels, and open networking, Discovery Day created the perfect space for developers, business leaders, investors, and innovators to connect and collaborate.

What the event offered:

  • Over 150 companies showcasing robotics and AI solutions
  • Hands-on demos and smart tech across sectors
  • Panels on ethics, automation, and workforce evolution
  • Spaces for hiring, networking, and deep tech exploration

Supporting innovation with real tools that scale

This year, Streaver was proud to participate not only as a featured exhibitor, but also as a technical partner to the Pittsburgh Robotics Network, bringing real solutions to the table.

We designed and deployed a custom badge and check-in app to manage on-site registration for thousands of attendees, using scalable, AI-first technology.

Thanks to this system, participants scanned a QR code, confirmed their identity, and received a printed badge in seconds. The platform integrated directly with Eventbrite, syncing attendee data in real time and distributing badge printing across multiple printers throughout the venue.

The result:
✅ 80% reduction in average check-in time
✅ 30+ staff hours saved per event
✅ Smooth, professional, error-free experience for all guests

This tool was essential for handling high-volume entry and clearly demonstrated how AI-first software can optimize even the most logistical-heavy processes.

More than a badge: building for long-term growth

The check-in solution is just one part of a broader partnership between Streaver and the Pittsburgh Robotics Network.

Earlier this year, we helped them build a centralized digital platform that powers their operations, from member management and event access to sponsorship workflows and automated reporting.

This custom platform includes:

  • A personalized member portal
  • Eventbrite synchronization and real-time updates
  • Streamlined benefit tracking
  • Advanced admin dashboards and controls
  • Role-based access and automation for scalability

Together, these tools are transforming how the Pittsburgh Robotics Network operates, with greater clarity, speed, and growth potential.

Why it matters

Being part of Discovery Day wasn’t just about showcasing, it was about contributing to the community.

For Streaver, it was a chance to:
🔹 Collaborate with forward-thinking organizations
🔹 Show how we build software that actually solves problems
🔹 Learn from an incredible innovation hub and share knowledge across borders

More than anything, it showed how technology, done right, can unlock smoother experiences, stronger connections, and better systems for everyone involved.
